Kazan journalist Nailya Mullaeva was left at the police station for the night on charges of repeated violation of the rules for holding rallies (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), reports Sota.
Mullaeva is accused of participating in an anti-mobilization rally she covered as a journalist in September. Then she was detained at the rally. Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for up to 30 days of arrest.
In the morning, the apartment of the journalist's parents was searched as part of the "case to justify terrorism" (Article 205.2 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The reason for initiating the case was a video on one of the YouTube channels about the attack on the Russian ambassador in Poland. The status of the journalist is unknown.
During the search, Mullaeva was not in the apartment, she lives in Riga and came to Kazan for a few days. According to the journalist's lawyer, the security forces figured out her whereabouts by billing.
