The United States will provide Ukraine with a $275 million military aid package, a new package could be announced today, Reuters reported , citing the document and sources.
It will include anti-drone and air defense (AD) systems, as well as missiles for HIMARS launchers manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT.N), 155-mm ammunition, Humvee military vehicles and generators. The content and amount of assistance can be negotiated and changed until the document is signed by US President Joe Biden.
Earlier it became known that the United States agreed on a draft defense budget for the next year - it will amount to a record $847.3 billion. Of these, $800 million will be directed to military assistance to Ukraine - $500 million more than the White House requested.
