One of the developers of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. died in the war in Ukraine. Vladimir Yezhov

Vladimir Yezhov, one of the developers of the STALKER computer game, died in the war in Ukraine. This was announced on his Facebook page by his brother Vyacheslav Yezhov.

“Today, defending Ukraine, my brother died, the father of two children, a true friend with a sincere heart. He said that in the struggle that the Ukrainian people are now waging, a happy future for our children is born. I hope you are in a better world brother," he wrote. According to UNIAN, Yezhov died near Bakhmut.

Yezhov, also known under the pseudonym Fresh, worked as a game designer. He has worked on games such as STALKER Clear Sky, Call of Cthulhu and Cossacks. One of the characters in the game STALKER: Call of Pripyat, Loki, is also copied from him. From the very beginning of a full-scale war, he went to the front as a volunteer, and later headed the air reconnaissance unit of the 23rd Special Forces Battalion. Yezhov was 38 years old, he left two small children.
