Nineteen-year-old resident of Arkhangelsk Olesya Krivtsova was added to the list of extremists and terrorists. A student of the Northern Federal University is a suspect under two criminal articles: on “discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” and on “justifying terrorism” due to a repost on VKontakte and stories about the Crimean bridge , as well as correspondence in a closed chat.
In early January, Krivtsova was placed under house arrest.
On December 26, law enforcers came to the student's house to conduct a search. As Olesya later said, they brought a sledgehammer with them (according to one of them, it was a symbolic “greetings from PMC Wagner” ) and laid Krivtsova, along with her husband, face down on the floor.
Earlier, the media reported that the materials of the case initiated against Olesya included screenshots of her correspondence with a classmate and a denunciation. The media also published correspondence in a student chat, where the girl’s classmates discussed where it would be better to report on Kryvtsova – to the police or directly to the FSB. One of the students who took part in the discussion argued his motivation as follows: “Reporting is the duty of a patriot.”
