The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg found rapper Oksimiron (Miron Fedorov) guilty of calling for separatism and fined him 70,000 rubles. This is reported from the courtroom by the correspondent of "Paper".

Calls to violate the territorial integrity of Russia were found in the track "Oida", namely, in the line "Ingria will be free." Ingria (Ingermanlandia) is a historical region in the north-west of Russia, on the Karelian Isthmus.

The rapper himself was not present at the meeting.

As follows from the case file posted on the court’s website, Oksimiron was charged with part 2 of Article 20.3.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Public calls for actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, committed using the media or via the Internet). The protocol was submitted to the court at the end of December.

Oksimiron released the composition "Oida" in September 2022. At the same time, a video for the song, filmed in St. Petersburg, was published on the rapper's YouTube channel. To date, it has gained 13.2 million views. The track, in particular, contains the lines "I killed the empire in myself", as well as "On our flag - white snow and a blue river."

On the same day, the Call of the People organization wrote a statement to the Investigative Committee about the song. The authors of the denunciation did not like the reference to the blue and white flag used by part of the Russian opposition. Activists from the "Call of the People" called it the flag of "modern Vlasov."

In October, the Ministry of Justice added Oksimiron to the list of foreign agents. At the same time, a court in Moscow recognized the rapper's song "Last Call" as extremist.

Oksimiron left Russia after the invasion of its troops in Ukraine, spoke out against the war and gave charity concerts in favor of the Ukrainians. Fontanka reported that in September the rapper came to St. Petersburg to shoot a video.
