State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Roman Lyabikhov found another apartment in Munich, which he did not declare. This is stated in the investigation of "Important stories". In total, at the moment it is known about four properties that have not been declared by the deputy and his wife. According to the law, for concealing income and property, Russian legislation provides for the resignation of the mandate for State Duma deputies.

The MP is under sanctions, including by EU countries, for supporting the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. Two apartments, as noted by Important Stories, are jointly owned by Lyabikhov and his wife Elena Kuznetsova, Kuznetsova owns two more.

In June 2022, the Munich prosecutor's office announced the investigation of a criminal case against a Russian deputy and his wife for violating the EU sanctions regime. The couple rented out three apartments, receiving a monthly income of 3,500 euros, despite the fact that sanctions prohibit economic activity. As the "Agency" found out, it was about Roman Lyabikhov and his wife. The prosecutor's office arrested the account of the deputy's wife, where the money from the rent came from, and confiscated their property.

Of foreign real estate, Lyabikhov's declaration lists only a room of 108.7 m² in the UAE.
