Zelensky imposed sanctions against 200 Russians. Among them are Putin’s assistants and Rosatom employees.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against 200 Russian citizens. The corresponding decree was published on February 12.

The list of persons against whom personal economic sanctions were imposed included assistants to the President of Russia Larisa Brycheva and Yuri Ushakov , Yuri Yakovlev, Ivan Kamenskikh and other high-ranking employees of Rosatom, acting. Chief of Staff of the Military-Industrial Commission of Russia Igor Borovkov.

The sanctions, imposed for a period of 50 years, provide for the blocking of assets on the territory of Ukraine, a ban on financial transactions and other measures.

The Ukrainian authorities adopted the previous package of sanctions against Russians at the end of January. Then the list included 185 individuals and companies involved in the rail transportation of military personnel and weapons.
