An 18-year-old resident of the Krasnodar Territory was accused of sabotage on the railway and setting fire to a “patriotic” banner – “Baza”

In the Krasnodar Territory, an 18-year-old resident of the city of Gulkevichi was detained, who is suspected of sabotage on the railway committed last year. According to the Baza Telegram channel, after the arrest, Leon D. confessed to another offense - setting fire to a banner with the inscription "We do not leave our own."

According to investigators, the young man decided to set fire to the sectioning post of the contact network, located between Armavir and Kurganinsk, for which he made four Molotov cocktails. In the early morning of September 4, 2022, he threw Molotov cocktails at the post.

According to Baza, Leon D. was detained in December and interrogated, and in January a criminal case was opened against him under Art. 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sabotage). He faces up to 15 years in prison.

On the eve it became known that four young people were detained in the Penza region, who are accused of committing several arsons on the railway. One of the suspects is a minor, he is 16 years old.
