In Simferopol, a local resident, Veronika Nosonova, was forced to record an apology on video because the coat of arms of Ukraine was painted on the playground. The video was published by the pro-Russian Telegram channel Crimean SMERSH, which describes itself as a “registry of Russophobes, Ukronazis and traitors to the Motherland.”

In the video, the girl apologizes for drawing “extremist symbols” on the swing on February 20. In addition, she promises to paint over similar drawings left by other people. Nosonova also says that she supports Vladimir Putin and a "special military operation."

Drawings with Ukrainian symbols, according to Krymsky SMERSH, were left on the sites along Bela Kuna Street in Simferopol. The channel published a video from CCTV cameras, in which a girl draws on a swing pole. Officially, the detention of the girl was not reported.

Since the beginning of the war, Russian authorities and pro-Russian activists have been persecuting residents of the annexed Crimea who oppose the war or show at least some loyalty to Ukraine. So, in August, DJ Yuri Radionov was arrested for 10 days for putting on a video for the song “Wild Field” by the Ukrainian rapper YARMAK in a cafe in Shchelkino.
