A resident of Samara was arrested for a day for laying blue and yellow flowers at the monument to victims of political repression. About it writes "OVD-Info". The lawyer of the project Evgeny Ryzhkov represents the interests of the man.

The Industrial District Court of Samara found the man guilty of petty hooliganism (part 1 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). The day spent in the police department was included in the arrest period, so he was released from the courtroom.

On February 24, on the anniversary of Russia's war against Ukraine, anti-war actions were held in several Russian cities. At the monuments, one way or another connected with Ukraine, spontaneous memorials appeared in memory of those who died under Russian shelling. According to OVD-Info, the police detained 54 people.
