The Efremov Interdistrict Court of the Tula Region sent Aleksey Moskalev, the father of a girl who drew an anti-war picture at school, under house arrest, according to OVD-Info lawyer Vladimir Bilienko. Moskalev is accused of "discrediting" the army (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code).

Mediazona, citing a lawyer, writes that Moskalev's daughter Masha will be able to live with her father, who is raising her alone. After his arrest, she was sent to an orphanage.

A criminal case against Moskalev was opened at the end of last year. It all started with the fact that his daughter Masha drew an anti-war picture at an art lesson and the director reported the family to the police. After that, Moskalev and his daughter were interrogated several times, and posts in support of Ukraine were found on his social media page. Before the New Year, the house of the Moskalevs was searched, after which the father and daughter left the city of Efremov, where they lived. On March 1, Moskalev was detained “for investigative actions” and sent to a temporary detention facility, while Masha was taken to a shelter.
