Mobilized from the Irkutsk region, who complained three times that they were thrown into battle without preparation, almost all died during the assault on the Avdeevsky fortified area. According to Sibir.Realii, citing relatives of the mobilized, several people were wounded, the rest are missing.

According to the wife of one of those who managed to survive, her husband called her from the hospital, where he was sent with a shrapnel wound. “He says nothing is left of the regiment. So far, only two of the wounded are known, the rest either died or were left there in a difficult situation, ”the woman said. She also said that her husband was given a week for treatment, after which he would be sent back to the front line.

At the end of February, the Irkutsk mobilized, assigned to the regiment 1439, recorded the third video message, in which they said that they were being sent into battle without preparation and threatened with an article on desertion. “Of us, the soldiers of the defense, they formed assault units in one day, sending us to storm the Avdeevsky fortified area without any support, artillery, communications, sappers, intelligence ... To slaughter,” the appeal said. The mobilized also said that the evacuation groups of the "DPR" take away only their fighters and only with minor injuries. The seriously wounded and dead are abandoned, and then they are listed as missing.

The governor of the Irkutsk region, Igor Kobzev, promised that "in the near future the guys will be transferred to a new place of service." Relatives say that nothing like this happened. On March 1, it became known that the 1st and 2nd battalions of the Irkutsk mobilized were sent to storm the Avdeevsky fortified area.
