“Rotonda”: Putin pardoned the wife of a prisoner recruited by the Wagner PMC. She had 13 years to sit in the same case as her husband

Vladimir Putin pardoned the wife of a prisoner recruited into the PMC Wagner, who was serving time in the same case as him. The Rotunda writes about it. We are talking about Dmitry Karavaichik and Diana Gribovskaya, who in 2019 were sentenced to 17 and 16 years respectively for the production and sale of drugs on an especially large scale. According to the court, Karavaichik was directly involved in the production of amphetamine, and Gribovskaya was responsible for sales. Karavaichik is known by the nickname "Russian Walter White". That was the name of the protagonist of the series Breaking Bad - a chemistry teacher who became a drug producer.

Karavaichik, according to him, went to the war against Ukraine to help his wife. In an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, which he gave under the pseudonym “Dmitry Semyonov,” the man said: “I hope now I can somehow get her out. I'm ready to do anything for this." "Rotonda" found out that Gribovskaya was indeed able to go free. Journalists found her on VKontakte and tried to contact her, but the woman deleted the page. "Rotonda" was able to find her father, Vladimir Gribovsky. He said that “both Dima and we” asked for a daughter, as a result of which “there was a presidential pardon”:

“I turned to the press when there was a trial. Promised, promised, nothing was published. And when Karavaichik was released, they began to write that there was supposedly industrial production of drugs there, although there was a typical provocation there. Such information was published that God forbid… Lawyers also just took the money and formally approached [the client's defense]. But I do not want to talk about the details until Dmitry returned home. He came and went back to the front."
