Muscovite denounced Belarusian neighbor for caricature with Putin in social networks – “Beware of Moscow”

Caricature: Sergey Yolkin

A resident of Moscow reported to the district police officer about her Belarusian neighbor, 20-year-old Danil K., on whose Instagram page she saw a caricature with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is reported by "Caution, Moscow".

The woman approached the district police officer on the street, who was walking around the area near the Avtozavodskaya metro station. The Muscovite told him that her neighbor lives on the 3rd Avtozavodsky passage and came from Belarus. She also indicated the apartment number and a link to his page on the social network. She saw a post there about Putin, "discrediting" the Russian army. The young man is being tested.

What picture he posted is not specified. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, famous cartoonists and artists have ridiculed Russian laws, government decisions, as well as the aggression and false statements of the Russian leader.

Russians denounce neighbors, acquaintances, teachers and even their relatives to the police. Following the emergence of new articles against the background of the war in Ukraine, fines were reported for "discrediting" the army for talking on the street and in cafes, posting on social networks and wearing yellow and blue clothes due to the fact that they are on the Ukrainian flag. In addition, a Russian was recently arrested for 14 days on charges of distributing “extremist materials” after being denounced by a subway passenger who peeped into his smartphone. Denunciations also became ways for Russians to deal with offenders: in March, a man called the police and said that there were “Ukrainian saboteurs” in a certain car, but later it turned out that the driver of the wanted car cut the man on the road and with the help of a denunciation, he decided to take revenge.
