Special Forces used weapons on a Russian accused of “re-discrediting” the Armed Forces. He tried to set himself and the security forces on fire

In Novomoskovsk, Tula region, special forces used weapons against a local resident accused of “repeatedly discrediting” the Russian Armed Forces. Presumably, we are talking about a man named Sergei Buffalo. This was reported by the Tula.ExtremiZm and Operational Reports Telegram channels associated with law enforcement agencies.

Later, OVD-Info journalists drew attention to the fact that information about the initiation of a criminal case against the Russian for “repeated discrediting” disappeared from the Tula.ExtremiZm channel. RIA Novosti reported that in the Tula region, two police officers were burned during the arrest of a man who "opened the gas and threatened to blow up the house", his name was not mentioned in the report.

According to Telegram channels, a resident of Novomoskovsk resisted the arrest, doused himself and the employees with flammable liquid and tried to set them on fire. It is noted that the security forces fired into the air. The man was detained in his own apartment and taken away in an ambulance, it is not known what exactly he suffered from and whether he had any injuries.

On May 23, 2022, the Novomoskovsk City Court fined Sergei Buivol 30,000 rubles under an article about “discrediting” the army for posts in Odnoklassniki.

Russians denounce neighbors, acquaintances, teachers and even their relatives to the police. The army can now be fined for “discrediting” because of talking on the street and in cafes, posts on social networks and wearing yellow and blue clothes, practice shows. Earlier, a resident of Moscow reported to the district police officer about her 20-year-old Belarusian neighbor, on whose Instagram she saw a caricature with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In addition, a Russian was recently arrested for 14 days under an article on the distribution of “extremist materials” due to a denunciation by a subway passenger who peeped into his smartphone. Some Russians use denunciations to crack down on offenders. For example, a man called the police and said that there were "Ukrainian saboteurs" in a certain car. It turned out that the driver of the wanted car cut off the scammer on the road, so he decided to take revenge.
