Anti-war activist Lev Sokolov, who was detained in Ryazan with a banner "Detain me if against the war," said he was beaten at the police station. According to the medical report, which is at the disposal of the ASTRA Telegram channel, Sokolov had chest bruises and abrasions.

According to Sokolov, after the arrest, his phone was immediately taken away and put on airplane mode: That is, my girlfriend and lawyer knew that I was taken to the railway department, but the police were not embarrassed: “And you yourself know where you will be through 15 minutes?". And in the end, indeed, according to the papers, I was nowhere for four hours.

When police officers began to question Sokolov about why he went out on a solo picket, he referred to Article 51 of the Constitution. He also warned the security forces that they should not beat him because of the tear in the retina. After that, one of the police officers said that he would “fuck [him] for his own pleasure.” At one point, Sokolov was forced to kneel and began to strike in the body and in the face. After that, one of the policemen took out a clerical knife and said: “Listen, come on, we’ll cut out your retina right now and that’s it, won’t you waste time on a doctor?”

A protocol was drawn up against Sokolov on the “discrediting” of the Russian army. He plans to file a complaint about the beatings with the Investigative Committee.
