The author of the material about the ex-employee of the Prigozhin media who left for Spain began to receive threats

The author of the Rotunda, Serafim Romanov, began to receive threats after the publication about Ksenia Parfenova. She worked as the editor-in-chief of the media of the founder of PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and in 2023 she was able to go to live in Spain.

The material about Parfyonova was released on the Rotunda on March 30. It tells about the career path of a propagandist. She worked in Prigozhin’s structures for almost 10 years, and in September, with the start of mobilization, she took the post of editor-in-chief of Politika Segodnya, which is part of Prigozhin’s Patriot media holding. She recently posted on her Instagram that she quit her job and moved to Spain with a student visa. Parfenova emphasizes that she was not completely sure that she would receive a visa, since Politika Segodnya is under EU sanctions. Before publishing the material, Romanov asked the girl if she would like to give an interview. In response, Parfyonova said that she was putting "on pause any relationship with the media."

However, apparently, this did not apply to Prigozhin's media. After the publication of the material, screenshots of her correspondence with Romanov appeared in the public media structures of the "cook" Putin. The journalist himself began to receive death threats in personal messages and in the comments under the Rotunda posts. Probably the "troll factory" is behind this. It is noteworthy that the authors of these reports omit the fact that their former colleague left for "unfriendly" Spain. Parfenova herself changed her name on Instagram, closed her page and refuses to communicate with any journalists.
