Masha Moskaleva will be given to her mother, said Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova.

“At first, Masha didn’t want to see her mother, and her opinion is required by law to be taken into account. Now her position has changed - she herself told me this on the phone. Today, during a conversation with my mother , having learned the details about her life and making an immediate impression, I thought: what if a miracle is really possible. Despite all the circumstances of the past. At the very least, they both have the right to do so.
Olga has already taken Masha from the social rehabilitation center, where she was at the request of her mother. Olga is currently not limited in parental rights, so it was enough to terminate the agreement on the temporary placement of the child in an institution, ”Lvova-Belova wrote in her Telegram channel.

The day before, Lvova-Belova said that they would look for a substitute family for the girl, they would not give her to her mother. According to her, the mother personally refused to take her daughter after the arrest of her ex-husband and wrote a statement with her own hand about placing the child in an orphanage. The mother did not get in touch with Masha, and she was not involved in her upbringing from the age of two.

Masha Moskaleva ended up in a shelter after her father Alexei Moskalev was arrested in the case of "discrediting the army." He escaped from house arrest, but was detained in Belarus. Moskalev became interested in law enforcement agencies after Masha drew an anti-war drawing at school, which was reported by the teacher. Soon the family began searches.

Moskalev was charged with discrediting and then re-discrediting the army because of several publications in Odnoklassniki, including the murders of Bucha residents and Ukrainian prisoners of war in Yelenovka. The man himself says that he did not publish these posts, and his page was hacked several times.
