Aleksey Moskalev, sentenced to two years in the case of "discrediting" the army, was transferred from Belarus to Russia. OVD-Info writes about this with reference to a human rights activist who tried to get to him in a pre-trial detention center in the city of Zhodino.
At the end of March, a Russian court sentenced Moskalev to two years in prison in the case of “discrediting” the army. Moskalev himself was not at the meeting, it later turned out that he had escaped from house arrest. Two days later it became known that he had been detained in Minsk.
After the detention of Moskalev (still in the Russian Federation), his daughter Masha was taken to an orphanage. Later, the girl was taken from the shelter by her mother Olga Sitchikhina.
On April 6, a trial was to be held to restrict Moskalev in parental rights, but the judge decided to postpone the consideration of this issue, since he could not be delivered to the meeting.
Moskalev was charged with “discrediting” and then again “discrediting” the army because of posts in Odnoklassniki, including the murders of Bucha residents. He himself stated that he did not publish these posts, and his page was hacked several times.
Moskalev and his daughter Masha began to be persecuted after the girl drew an anti-war drawing at school during an art lesson. The teacher denounced her to the school administration, and the family was searched.
