In the Sudanese capital Khartoum, clashes broke out between the army and the Local Response Force (RSF), reports Al Jazeera.
The RSF said it had taken control of the presidential palace, the residence of the army commander and Khartoum International Airport, as well as a military base in the northern city of Merov, Reuters reported .
