Khamzat Kadyrov is the son of the late elder brother Ramzan Kadyrov. In February 2023, he received the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya. Prior to that, he was the Minister of Sports of the Republic, as well as the head of the Kurchaloevsky district.

In March 2023, Kadyrov promoted one of his daughters. 20-year-old Khutmat Kadyrova, who previously held the position of deputy head of the secretariat of the head of the republic, became the curator of the healthcare sector in the republic.

Another daughter of the head of Chechnya, 24-year-old Aishat Kadyrova, is the Minister of Culture, and one of the nephews, Ibragim Zakriev, is the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic and the Minister of Agriculture.
