Baza: Drones attacked a military training ground in the Voronezh region. About 14 soldiers were injured

On the night of May 10, two drones attacked a military training ground in the Voronezh region, Baza reports . About 14 servicemen were injured.

According to the Telegram channel, drones filled with explosives flew up to the training ground and exploded when they fell.

Information about the drone attack is also confirmed by the Astra Telegram channel. According to Astra sources, the attack on the Pogonovo military airfield took place around 4 am. Two drones attacked the training ground of military unit 11097. More than 10 soldiers were wounded, 10 ambulances were sent to the scene. The exact number of wounded and the degree of damage are established.

Later, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, said that two drones were trying to attack a military facility in Voronezh. “As a result of measures of influence, one of them deviated from the course and fell, the second was destroyed by fire damage. Interaction with law enforcement agencies and military command continues. A set of additional measures aimed at ensuring security is being implemented.” He did not say anything about the victims.

Baza also writes that on the morning of May 9, an “unidentified flying object” was shot down near a military airfield in the Voronezh region, flying at an altitude of 500 meters. As a result of falling debris, no one was injured.

Astra clarifies that this is a Baltimore military airfield. According to the Telegram channel, air defense forces shot down a missile near the airfield on May 9 at 9:40 am. Fragments of a downed rocket were found in the evening in a forest belt near the Nikolskoye cemetery in the Left Bank district of Voronezh. It has not yet been possible to establish the type and ownership of the rocket, the found fragment turned out to be non-explosive. According to preliminary data, this is a radar homing head of an unidentified missile.
