Alexander Lukashenko said he was not going to die. “It was an adenovirus,” he commented on his recent disappearance from the information field and absence from public events. At the same time, Lukashenka did not explain why his left and right hands were bandaged in the last photographs.

“If someone thinks that I was going to die, calm down. Take it easy. This is nothing more than idle reasoning in instant messengers and Telegram channels. What kind of adenovirus do I have, or what was there? Adenovirus? - he said, addressing the meeting to the doctor Irina Abelskaya, whom the Project had previously called one of Lukashenka's women and the mother of his son Nikolai.

Rumors of Lukashenka's health problems began in early May when he did not go to dinner with Putin and other presidents invited to the Victory Parade. Belarusian political scientist Dmitry Bolkunets also said that Lukashenka was unable to attend the dinner for health reasons, he was "accompanied by an ambulance" to the airport.

Now Lukashenka is 68 years old. He took the post of President of Belarus in 1994, in July it will be 29 years since Lukashenka leads the country.
