In January 2020, Ivanov and Yakimenko were attacked by eight neo-Nazis. Yakimenko and Ivanov defended themselves. One of the attackers on Yakimenko and Ivanov is being treated as a victim in the case.
This is the second sentencing. Earlier, Yakimenko and Ivanov were sentenced to real terms of 3 years 8 months and 5 years 6 months in prison, after which the sentence was canceled and sent for a new trial.
