Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that "the perception of Russia's war with Ukraine is anxiety." According to him, Armenia is not Russia's ally in this war. He said this in an interview with the Czech television channel CNN Prima News. Meduza drew attention to him, the interview was recorded back in May during his visit to the Czech Republic.
“You said that we are allies of Russia. Of course, this has never been said aloud, but I think it is noticeable. We are not allies of Russia in the war with Ukraine. And our perception of this war, this conflict is anxiety, because it directly affects all our relations,” Pashinyan said.
He also noted that in the West, Armenia is considered an ally of Russia, while in Moscow they have a different opinion. “It turns out that we are no one’s allies in this situation, which means we are vulnerable,” he said.
