Russian anti-war activist Aleksey Rozhkov, who set fire to the military enlistment office after the start of the war with Ukraine, was taken from Kyrgyzstan to Russia. Now he is in jail. This is reported by the project "Solidarity Zone".
How exactly the activist was brought to Russia is not specified. The Solidarity Zone told The Insider:
“We don’t know yet, but it happened one day. He disappeared, and the very next day he was in Russia.”
Anarchist Aleksey Rozhkov became the third person in Russia to set fire to the military enlistment office after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He was detained and charged with “attempted murder” due to the fact that there was allegedly a watchman in the building at the time of the arson. However, six months later, the article was reclassified as “damage to property” and Rozhkov was released from the pre-trial detention center.
After some time, the activist left the country amid statements by the authorities that the arson of military registration and enlistment offices should be qualified as "acts of terrorism."
