The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has declared the Norwegian human rights organization Human Rights House Foundation (HRHF) "undesirable".
Also declared "undesirable" are non-governmental organizations associated with the Human Rights House Foundation from the "international network of so-called Human Rights Houses." These organizations include the Belarusian House of Human Rights named after Boris Zvozskov in Lithuania, the House of Human Rights Tbilisi in Georgia, the House of Human Rights Crimea in Ukraine, the House of Human Rights Yerevan in Armenia and others.
HRHF is an independent international non-profit human rights organization that promotes the values of freedom of expression around the world, according to its website. The headquarters of human rights defenders is located in Oslo. HRHF also has an office in Geneva and representative offices in Tbilisi and Brussels.
