In Mari El, they began distributing summonses "to clarify military registration specialties and streamline documents." This is stated on the website of the government of the republic. As emphasized in the press release of the department, the agendas are distributed in a planned manner, as to citizens who are in reserve. However, despite being planned, such events have not been held in recent years "for a number of reasons."
The collection plan was approved on February 22 on the basis of a decree by Vladimir Putin. They will go from March 17 to April 26, on the basis of the Kazan Higher Tank Command School. Thus, officially the Republic of Mari El became the sixth region that announced the distribution of subpoenas "to clarify the data." Previously, this was done by the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Yaroslavl and Penza regions.
According to the head of the Agora human rights organization Pavel Chikov, in fact, such summonses are already being distributed in 43 regions of Russia. The Kremlin and the Ministry of Defense, however, have not yet announced a new wave of mobilization.
