Vladimir Putin set before the security forces the task of "liquidating" the founder of PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, in order to avoid fighting in Moscow. This is reported by a source of "Important stories", close to the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
According to him, the Russian army does not have forces that could block the road to Moscow for Prigozhin's formations. Now the security forces are trying to assemble a group from all units not employed in Ukraine: Chechen formations, the National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB.
“Putin doesn’t need a big shooting, so the number one task is to precisely eliminate Prigozhin and tear the backbone of Wagner from him, promising an amnesty for all this disgrace.”
Meanwhile, Wagner veterans who want to join Prigozhin's rebellion have been told to wait for orders in full combat readiness. This was told to Important Stories by a mercenary who participated in the war in Ukraine.
“We are waiting for an official order from the father [Evgeny Prigozhin]. The National Guard and the army refuse to follow orders, and we were ordered to wait in full combat readiness. Closer to dinner should be an order for further action.
"Important stories" also write , citing a source close to the presidential administration, that the Kremlin tried to negotiate with Prigozhin immediately after he announced the rebellion.
“They called him from the Presidential Administration (not Putin) and offered to give back, and explain all his messages with hacking and forgery of the voice,” the source said. Prigozhin refused, and then Putin ordered that a criminal case be opened against him and "deal with it in a tough way."
