The Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow has arrested politician Ilya Yashin for 15 days on charges of "disobedience to the police," journalist Irina Babloyan reports on her Telegram channel.

Yashin himself stated that the report on him was compiled by police sniper Alexei Mitrofankin, who claims that Yashin "grabbed him by the uniform, dirtyly insulted him and pushed him away with his hands." “I read the report and I myself am surprised at what a scumbag I turn out to be,” the politician said.

Yashin is sure that the current arrest is another attempt to "squeeze" him out of the country.

“Obviously, such a brazen and demonstratively illegal detention is another hint. Like: “Well, why are you so slow-witted, guy? Leave the country! How else can I explain it to you?“ I will repeat it again. Yes, I'm clueless. No, I will not leave my country anywhere, ”wrote Yashin.

On the evening of June 27, Yashin was detained in a park in Khamovniki. This was reported by journalist Irina Babloyan in her Telegram channel.

“Walked with my friend Ilya Yashin in the park, in Khamovniki. The police came up and took Ilya to no one knows where, ”she wrote, posting a photo in which the politician was being detained. Babloyan claims that there was no "disobedience to the police" at the time of the arrest. She confirmed this in court.

On April 12, politician and journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza was arrested for 15 days under the article on “disobedience to the police”. The protocol stated that “the citizen, at the sight of the police officers, behaved inappropriately, changed the trajectory of movement, quickened his pace and tried to hide when asked to stop.”

On April 22, a criminal case was opened against Kara-Murza for “fake” stories about the Russian army (Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Now Kara-Murza is in jail.

On May 25, Ilya Yashin was fined 30,000 rubles under the article on “discrediting the Russian army” for publishing a 1969 photograph of protests against the Vietnam War. He posted the photo on his Telegram channel on April 7. “'Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity'. 50 years have passed, but the slogans are still relevant, ”the politician signed the photo. The subpoena in this casecame to Yashin on May 11. In total, four protocols were drawn up against him under the article on “discrediting” the army. On May 13, Yashingot acquainted with the materials of the case in court.
